Johann Sebastian Bach was born in Eisenach, Germany on March 1, 1685. He was the youngest son of Johann Ambrosius Bach. He was taught by his father, and then by his oldest brother, Johann Christoph Bach, who was a very talented musician who lived in Ohrdruf.
